Privacy policy
Short version: Pencilmark does not collect your data. It stays on your device.
The app
- No account. You do not sign up and we do not know who you are.
- Local storage. Your progress, streak, notes and settings are stored on your device (in the browser's local storage for the web version) and never sent to us.
- No analytics, no ads, no trackers and no third-party requests. After the first load the app only fetches its own files from this site.
- Backups. Exported backups are files you save yourself.
- Sharing. The share button creates a text with your time and hint use. You choose where to paste it; no solutions are included.
This website
The site is served by a standard web server that keeps short-lived access logs (IP address, time, requested page, browser string) for operations and abuse prevention, rotated automatically within about two weeks. We do not use cookies or analytics scripts. The Star Battle practice board on this site runs entirely in your browser.
Deleting your data
In the app open You → Settings → Reset, or clear this site's data in your browser. Nothing is stored on a server.
Children
Pencilmark is a general-audience puzzle game and does not knowingly collect any data from anyone, including children.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new date.
